A story forged in stone and legend.

In the heart of Hidalgo, amidst basalt columns and landscapes seemingly frozen in time, lies the story of the Hacienda Santa María Regla. One of the most influential men of New Spain decided to build this imposing estate as the center of operations for his mines. More than just a hacienda, it became a symbol of power, innovation, and wealth.

From here, one of the most important periods of mining in Mexico was promoted, turning the region into an economic benchmark of its time.

To one side, the majestic Basaltic Prisms create an unparalleled natural setting, where colonial architecture and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Today, its stone walls continue to tell stories to those who visit, making it one of Mexico's most iconic destinations.

The Rose Waterfall

At the end of the 18th century, the scientist and explorer Alexander von Humboldt visited the Huasca region and was captivated by its landscapes. Among them, the Cascada de la Rosa (Rose Waterfall) stood out for its beauty, to the point of being depicted in his illustrations, helping to make this natural environment known as one of the most representative of Mexico.
